At Myrtle House we LOVE books!

Browse through our Bookshop and discover works by local authors, new classics and an impressive selection of children’s books and pre-loved literary treasures.

We proudly support our very talented local authors, such as; Tea Cooper (The Woman in the Green Dress – among other titles), Robin De Crespigny (The People Smuggler) and Renata Daniel (Newcastle Ghost Stories).

You’ll also find a selection of unique local products and cards which make wonderful gifts.

The Myrtle House Bookshop & Reading Room is open during our usual Cafe trading hours.
